Jamie Cox Poe, Esq.
Managing Partner
Jamie Cox Poe, Esq. is the Managing Partner of Georgia Injury Attorneys “The People’s Champs,” a leading personal injury firm she co-founded with her husband, Attorney Brian Poe. She is the firm’s front-line strategist, chief negotiator, and litigator. Her belief in providing complete and thoughtful service to clients – sometimes well after resolving their legal matters – is the center of her practice and the success of her law firm, which is the reigning “Best Attorney in South Fulton,” as recognized by South Fulton Lifestyle Magazine. Before establishing Georgia Injury Attorneys, Jamie was an associate at a large Philadelphia law firm, as well as a community journalist who wrote educational, news, and feature articles for local publications.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and partially raised in Alabama, Jamie is a product of the Atlanta Public Schools system, graduating from Henry Grady High School (now Midtown High School) in Atlanta. She is also a double Ivy League graduate, earning her undergraduate degree from Columbia University and her Juris Doctorate from The University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Jamie is an avid art and antiques collector. A mother of five children and previous appointee to the Atlanta Mayor’s Youth Commission Advisory Council, she is personally dedicated to guiding high school students through the college admissions process, and generously donates her time and resources in support of several charities and non-profits. Her law firm, Georgia Injury Attorneys, is a sponsor of the annual RICE Awards, where she recently presented Lifetime Achievement Awards to her personal sheroes: industry ground-breaking journalist Monica Kaufman Pearson (2022), civil rights legend Xernona Clayton (2024), and the historic former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Clarke Franklin (2025).
